Work one section at a time
Assemble the tree, then fluff section by section starting at the bottom. Bend each tip outward and slightly upward, fanning them in different directions.
Fill the inner gaps
The most common mistake is fluffing only the outer tips. Angle interior tips toward the trunk voids to hide the pole.
Final shape check
Step back 6–8 feet and rotate slowly. Trim any wild branches with your eye before you hang a single light.
